RADIOISOTOPES PRODUCTION

The global nuclear medicine market size was valued at USD 14.11 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11.69% from 2024 to 2030.

 

The market is witnessing growth due to the presence of a robust product pipeline and favorable government initiatives to improve access to nuclear medicine.

Micro modular reactors offer a versatile, reliable, and safe solution for producing medical radioisotopes. By enabling local, on-demand production of key isotopes, they can enhance the availability of critical diagnostic and therapeutic tools, support the growth of medical infrastructure, and improve healthcare outcomes.

SOLO's technology, will propel the production of radioisotopes, improve the medical R&D, and advance the nuclear health industry globally. 

WATER DESALINATION

The global water desalination market is estimated to be valued at USD 17.47 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach USD 31.32 billion by 2031 growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.7% from 2024 to 2031.

By integrating micro modular reactors with desalination plants, it is possible to create a robust and sustainable system for producing fresh water in regions where it is most needed, ensuring energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. 

SOLO, by providing a consistent reliable source of energy, essential for the energy-intensive process of desalination, will impact water provisions in water deployment and distribution.

AI & BIG DATA

A single ChatGPT query requires 2.9 watt-hours of electricity, compared with 0.3 watt-hours for a Google search, according to the International Energy Agency.

 

Goldman Sachs Research estimates the overall increase in data center power consumption from AI to be on the order of 200 terawatt-hours per year between 2023 and 2030, while data center power demand will grow 160% by 2030. By 2028, our analysts expect AI to represent about 19% of data center power demand.

SOLO is the only fast-track solution to meet current and future AI-driven data center needs by providing reliable, carbon-free power, reducing dependence on traditional grids, and mitigating AI’s environmental impact.

ENERGY EQUITY

One billion people are still living without electricity: 1.1 Billion in 2017 and 760M in 2023, of which 588 million are without electricity only in Africa.

 

To sustain global population growth, human flourishing, and prosperity are needed: 18 TW (2023) > 119 TW (2100) (13 billion expected population).

SOLO, with its easy global deployability and ability to deliver a reliable, consistent energy source, has the potential to bridge the gap in energy disparity across regions, ensuring equitable distribution.
